Community Engagement Manager

Blossom Rock | Apache Junction, AZ

$60,000–$80,000 annually + Comprehensive Benefits + 16 Paid Holidays

Hiring range based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Collaboration. Authenticity. Connection. Balance.

At Cohere, we believe community is the most valuable amenity.

We do more than manage communities—we help create places where people connect, belong, and thrive. By partnering with some of the nation’s most innovative master-planned communities, we create places residents are proud to call home and where meaningful relationships flourish.

We’re looking for a Community Engagement Manager to join our team at Blossom Rock, a vibrant and rapidly growing master-planned community in Apache Junction set against the scenic Superstition Mountains. With resort-style amenities, including a pool, clubhouse, and gathering spaces, parks, trails, and a lake, Blossom Rock offers the opportunity to help shape the culture and traditions of a growing community.

In this role, you’ll lead the experiences, programs, partnerships, and everyday connections that help residents feel welcomed, involved, and part of something meaningful. You’ll create opportunities for people to come together, develop relationships throughout the community, and build traditions that can grow alongside Blossom Rock.

This is a great opportunity for someone who combines creativity and hospitality with strong leadership, organization, and follow-through—and who genuinely enjoys bringing people together.

Why People Choose Cohere

  • Professional development and growth opportunities

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and lead engaging community events, programs, clubs, activities, and resident experiences that encourage connection and participation.
  • Help establish traditions and signature experiences that become part of the identity and culture of Blossom Rock.
  • Listen to resident interests and feedback and turn what you learn into thoughtful, relevant programming.
  • Create opportunities for residents to take an active role in their community through clubs, volunteerism, committees, and other forms of involvement.

  • Support and lead team members, Ambassadors, volunteers, contractors, and others involved in delivering the resident experience.
  • Respond to resident and stakeholder needs with professionalism, care, and follow-through.
  • Help create an environment where people feel comfortable participating, contributing ideas, and building relationships.

Own the Details

  • Develop annual programming plans and manage event and program budgets.
  • Coordinate calendars, event logistics, vendors, contracts, permits, insurance requirements, and other details necessary to deliver successful programs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and services while maintaining quality and accountability.
  • Partner with communications to support event promotion, resident messaging, newsletters, social media, website content, and other communication needs.

  • Experience managing multiple programs, projects, events, or initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience developing and managing budgets and monitoring expenses.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and service providers.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with residents, vendors, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, project management, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • A professional, polished, hospitality-driven approach and a genuine interest in creating exceptional resident experiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, Marketing, Recreation, Community Association Management, or a related discipline preferred.
