The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of goods, materials, inventory, and customer shipments throughout our operations. This is a hands-on role, with the majority of the workday spent in the shipping and warehouse areas.

Reporting to the Building Manager, the Logistics Coordinator supports daily warehouse operations, maintains accurate inventory records, coordinates domestic and international shipments, and helps ensure a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.

• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Perform daily warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, packaging, storage, and movement of materials and finished goods.
• Prepare customer shipments, including final pack-out, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation.
• Coordinate domestic and international incoming and outgoing shipments, including applicable customs requirements.
• Maintain lot traceability and accurate shipping records.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse, finished goods inventory, and inventory records.
• Track raw material and finished goods inventory and support monthly inventory reporting.
• Conduct and reconcile physical inventories and investigate discrepancies between system and physical inventory Maintain accurate inventory transactions and records in SAP.
• Provide guidance and support to junior logistics team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and properly maintain warehouse equipment and supplies.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Read, interpret, and complete shipping documents, logs, SOPs, and other required documentation.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities related to warehouse, inventory, shipping, and logistics processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet operational and customer requirements.
• Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, packaging, warehouse, or logistics operations
• 2+ years of experience with SAP inventory management and purchasing
• Experience with domestic and international shipping and customs procedures
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a cross-functional team
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry
• Experience working in an ISO-certified environment
• Experience documenting procedures and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Physical & Work Environment

• Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs
• Ability to operate a forklift and wear required PPE, including safety footwear and gloves
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a moderate noise level

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries on the job site, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and materials
