Job Title: Staff Software Engineer
Location: Bangalore - Manyata Tech Park

Impact & Contribution:
We are seeking an accomplished Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across the design, development, delivery, and operation of modern, secure, cloud-native applications. You will remain hands-on while setting engineering direction across multiple teams, influencing architecture, improving engineering standards, and resolving complex system-wide challenges.
- Lead the technical design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions using C#/.NET and Next.js/React.
- Shape architecture and engineering strategy across applications, APIs, integration patterns, and cloud platforms.
- Partner with engineering, product, platform, security, and business stakeholders to translate complex needs into pragmatic solutions.
- Raise engineering quality through reusable patterns, code reviews, test automation, observability, security, and operational excellence.
- Mentor senior engineers, facilitate technical decision-making, and build alignment across teams without relying on formal authority.
- Own complex production issues, drive root-cause analysis, and deliver systemic improvements that reduce recurrence and operational risk.
Essential Skills:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading complex systems and influencing engineering outcomes across teams.
- Extensive experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native workloads on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, networking, secrets management, high availability, resilience, scalability, performance, and cost optimisation.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep, or equivalent
- Expert-level experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core for building secure, scalable APIs and backend services
- Strong hands-on experience with modern web development using Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design, distributed systems, integration patterns, asynchronous processing, and data modelling.
- Proven ability to define engineering standards, evaluate trade-offs, simplify complex designs, and guide solutions from discovery through production.
- Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, contract, end-to-end, and performance testing.
- Advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills across full-stack and distributed environments.
- Extensive experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native workloads on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- AWS experience across services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, Application Load Balancer, API Gateway, Aurora PostgreSQL/RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch
Security & DevSecOps
- Strong understanding of secure software development, threat-aware design, secrets handling, dependency governance, and least-privilege access.
- Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD and remediating vulnerabilities using tools such as Snyk, Wiz, or equivalent.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
