Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics

 

Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089

 

Duties: Owns workstreams and individual analytics related projects end-to-end for a business area, category, or prototype. Help with risk associated with implementation. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Works with leadership/business partners to discuss and understand goals/functional objectives and key business challenges to develop hypotheses around current and future business issues; identifies functional analytics and research objectives and develops tactical research plans. Advises on next steps based on objective insights and research. Presents actionable recommendations to Directors to inform strategic and tactical functional initiatives. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with leadership and other key stakeholders.

 

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

 

Skills required: Experience writing complex SQL queries using joins, subqueries, window functions, and performance optimization techniques. Experience developing data analysis and automation workflows using Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib. Experience with creating clear and impactful data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders. Experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B experiments to evaluate product and feature performance. Experience implementing and analyzing clickstream event tracking to measure user behavior and product engagement. Experience applying statistical methods and hypothesis testing to analyze data and support data-driven decisions. Experience defining, tracking, and monitoring product KPIs aligned with business and customer objectives. Experience performing funnel analysis to identify drop-offs, conversion opportunities, and user behavior patterns. Experience analyzing retail and ecommerce data to evaluate customer behavior, sales performance, and conversion metrics. Experience applying AI-driven solutions to automate processes, optimize workflows, and improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. Experience building, training, and evaluating machine learning models using statistical and data science techniques to extract insights, make predictions, and support decision-making. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.   

 

Salary Range: $168,917/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
