- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, including journals, invoices, balance sheet substantiation, movement analysis and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial analysis and commentary for monthly reporting across CBA’s Americas entities, covering balance sheet, revenue, expenses and business performance.
- Support audit, controls and Finance business partnering, providing documentation, control testing, financial analysis and ad hoc decision support.
- Drive continuous improvement and Finance transformation through process simplification, automation, data analytics, AI-enabled tools and system/change initiatives.
We are interested in hearing from you if you have:
- 2+ years’ relevant experience in Financial Control, Regulatory Reporting, Audit/Accounting, Product Control or a comparable Finance role within banking or financial services.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP, with an understanding of balance sheets, P&L, general ledger processes and financial controls.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience working with large data sets, reconciliations and investigating financial or data variances.
- Exposure to U.S. or international regulatory reporting and financial markets products such as Fixed Income, Debt Capital Markets, institutional lending or U.S. Private Placements is advantageous.
- Strong Excel, data and AI literacy, with exposure to tools such as Power BI, Power Query, SQL, VBA or AI-enabled platforms; experience with Murex, WSS or LoanIQ is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly and accurately.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach, with the initiative to investigate issues, ask questions and escalate appropriately.
- Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, manage competing priorities and work independently with guidance in a global, matrixed environment.
