Job Description: Works with production personnel to fill Kanban bins. Load and unload trucks with a forklift and/or by hand. Supply parts to the production line on demand.
This position performs hazardous waste management activities regulated under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA-40 CFR-265.16) and Department of Transportation (49 CFR) regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive parts when they are delivered & put in the correct location.
- Unload and load trucks using various devices.
- Stock parts and put them in the appropriate location.
- Document items that are low in stock
- Pull parts as needed.
- Efficiently organized stockroom.
- Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.
- Remove packing slips & forward them to purchasing Dept.
- Perform hazard waste management activities in compliance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA-40 CFR 265.16) and Department of Transportation regulations (49 CFR). The following tasks include, but are not limited to the generation, handling, labeling, inspection, and emergency response.
- Properly identify and characterize hazardous indicators and their accumulation start dates, along with ensuring that hazardous waste materials are in their proper packing.
- Conduct and document hazardous waste container inspections in assigned areas. Offering hazardous waste to an approved Treatment & Storage Disposal transportation company.
- Act as Emergency Coordinator or emergency response support personnel.
- Daily activities include but are not limited to puncturing aerosol cans into Hazardous waste satellite-approved containers and picking up satellite hazardous waste throughout the facility to bring to the 90-day hazardous waste accumulation center. Load hazardous waste to the approved Treatment and Storage carrier/truck in accordance with CFR 49.
- This position has been provided with RCRA and Department of Transportation (initially and annually) training to ensure understanding and conformance with handling and offering of hazardous waste.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience Include but is not Limited to:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Must obtain forklift certification.
- Knowledge of computer systems and databases used by the Materials and Service Parts Department.
- Follow the instruction of the Supervisor/foreman/lead when doing miscellaneous duties.
- Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR).
Physical and Work Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
- Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of boats.
- Must be able to wear proper safety equipment as needed.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary.
- The ability to see details at close range.
- Be able to use and maintain small hand tools (grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, etc.)
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
