Job Summary:

 Clerks ensure that inventory is accounted for, is undamaged, and is allocated to the proper areas. They keep thorough records of items shipped or received and track inventory changes in supply or demand. They’ll additionally be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe stock room. 

Functions/Responsibilities:

The Stockroom personnel duties and responsibilities consist of and include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Packaging and Shipments of various items
• Receiving shipments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain and stock various supplies
• Perform tasks as assigned by Manager
• Operates lift trucks or hand trucks
• Performs all computer functions necessary to track various parts
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the manager

Work Environment & Culture Skills:

• Experience in Shipping and Receiving
• Basic MS Office knowledge, computer software & internet proficiency
• Able to read, understand, and write English
• Motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized, and able to manage and be managed
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible
• Ethical and trustworthy with sensitive information
• Service oriented and able to work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude
• Communicate effectively and work within a team-focused environment
• Respectful of diverse populations and cultures

Requirements

Education / Requirements:

• Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED
• A valid unrestricted driver’s license, clean driving record
• Experience in packaging parts shipments

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job

• Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
• Moderate to heavy lifting is required (up to 60lbs)
• Must be able to climb and use a ladder, work stands, platforms and lift equipment
• Work within a confined workspace(s)

Other Requirements:

• Must be available full-time
• Must be at least 18 years of age
•  Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• A Valid Unrestricted Driver’s License Required
