Position Purpose:
The Inside Sales Operations Manager serves as the operational backbone of The Home Depot's Virtual Sales organization, enabling the Director of Inside Sales and three specialized teams (Pro Sales Representatives, Trade Sales Representatives, and Digital Sales) to operate with efficiency, consistency, and scale.
This role will support a growing team of inside sales associates with infrastructure, processes, data, and training resources. By translating data into actionable insight, streamlining operations, and enabling effective workforce planning, this role directly contributes to the growth and success of The Home Depot's inside sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- 25% - Strategic Initiatives & Business Planning - Leads strategic planning efforts by analyzing business trends, sales performance, and workforce requirements to develop actionable plans that support organizational growth and operational excellence.
- 25% - Process Improvement & Change Management - Identifies operational inefficiencies and leads the design, implementation, and adoption of scalable process improvements across all three teams. Documents standard operating procedures, supports change management efforts, and continuously evaluates workflows across phone, online, email, and SMS channels to increase productivity and reduce friction for both associates and customers.
- 20% - Cross Functional Program Leadership - Serves as a key operational resource and liaison between the Inside Sales organization and cross-functional partners including HR, Finance, Workforce Management, and Technology. Supports the Director of Inside Sales with operational needs, project coordination, and communications as the organization continues to grow.
- 15% - Analytics & Workforce Planning owns the development and maintenance of performance dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs across all three inside sales teams, transforming sales data, call metrics, and productivity trends into actionable insights that inform decision-making for the Director of Inside Sales and senior leaders. In addition, the role leads capacity planning, headcount modeling, and growth forecasting by partnering closely with Sales leadership, HR, and Finance to anticipate workforce needs, identify staffing gaps, and maintain planning tools that support both short-term execution and long-range organizational growth.
- 15% - Training & Operations Support - Coordinates training programs, new associate onboarding, and ongoing development initiatives across the Inside Sales organization. Partners with Learning & Development and functional leaders to ensure training content is current, accessible, and aligned with business priorities. Supports consistent skill development across all three team pillars.

Proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation
Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with associates, managers, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority
Experience developing business processes, programs, or operational frameworks in a dynamic environment
Champions the evaluation, testing, and adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows that improve associate productivity and customer experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leaders
Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering results independently
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
