As a Credit Controller based in Warwick you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing a ledger of approximately 2,000 customer accounts and proactively collecting outstanding debt through telephone and email contact
- Achieving monthly cash collection, overdue cash and 180-day debt targets while maintaining strong account performance
- Resolving customer queries by liaising with internal branches and account managers to deliver timely and effective solutions
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support successful debt recovery and customer satisfaction
This is a full-time, hybrid role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 08:00am - 17:00pm with 1hrs break. Hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home once probation has been passed.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
- Confident and professional communication skills, including a strong telephone manner and the ability to handle challenging conversations
- Good computer literacy, with a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUPs
- Ability to make informed decisions, challenge requests when necessary, and confidently communicate outcomes while maintaining a professional approach
- Credit control experience is desirable
