JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance Generalist Lead MG0L - Goodlettsville Case Ready Plant
Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-12am
Pay: $34.40/HR
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordinating daily departmental operations by ensuring work assignments and instructions are communicated clearly and completed accurately and efficiently. This role supports maintenance activities by troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while promoting a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily maintenance operations and team activities.
- Communicate work assignments, priorities, and operational updates to maintenance team members.
- Monitor work progress to ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment, machinery, and facility assets.
- Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment reliability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
- Identify equipment issues and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Support training and development of maintenance team members.
- Maintain maintenance records, logs, and documentation as required.
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able and willing to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Must be able and willing to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able and willing to work in varying temperatures, humid conditions, and industrial environments.
- Must be able and willing to use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able and willing to safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery required for the position.
- Must be able and willing to perform repetitive motions and physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
