You will play a vital role in the daily operations of the department, contributing to efficient and effective healthcare services provided by Loudoun County’s Fire and Rescue Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to support pharmacy and logistical operations, including scheduling, meeting coordination, filing, and correspondence management. Greet and welcome visitors professionally while answering, screening, and directing incoming phone calls. Provide courteous and timely support to internal and external stakeholders. Prepare reports, documents, and data summaries as required. Update and maintain departmental databases and files to ensure accurate recordkeeping. Assist with purchasing activities by preparing requisitions, processing orders, and maintaining inventory records. Prepare and track paperwork for uniforms sent for alterations. Assist with Recruit Class personnel during fittings and issuance of uniforms and personnel protective equipment. Coordinate with vendors to verify orders and resolve discrepancies, supporting compliance with department procurement policies. Reconcile accounts, prepare credit card transactions, and support budget tracking and reporting. Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with department policies and procedures.
