We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!

What you will work on:
The Maintenance Mechanic will support plant operations by performing hands-on mechanical maintenance in an assigned area, helping keep equipment reliable, safe, and production ready. This role includes troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, supporting continuous improvement efforts such as 5S, RCA, and LEAN, and working safely while meeting schedule, overtime, and off-shift requirements as needed.

- The ability to work a full shift, promptness and availability to work overtime as needed.
- Work and perform according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
- Ability to work off-shift as required
What you’ll bring:
- 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience preferred in the following areas: welding, millwright, pipe fitting, plumbing, mechanical print reading, hydraulics, blacksmith work, sheet metal or graduate of an approved apprentice program or graduate from 2-year technical associates degree program.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Hiring process will include hands-on testing to include welding/cutting, hydraulics, parts identification, machine alignment and minimizer
