Job Family Summary:

The Purchasing Market Operations job family encompasses roles that are responsible for the procurement of goods and services, ensuring optimal cost-efficiency and value addition. This includes roles that handle supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and strategic sourcing.

Overview of the Job:

This role in the Purchasing Market Operations team is an entry-level role that supports the execution of purchasing strategies. The individual will be involved in various aspects of purchasing operations, from supplier selection to contract negotiation, relationship management.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Supports the execution of purchasing strategies under guidance.
• Participates in supplier selection and evaluation processes.
• Assists in contract negotiation to ensure optimal cost-efficiency.
• Collaborates with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
• Complies with all relevant internal and external stewardship requirements.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree or any relevant field.
• 3-4 years of work experience in Logistics industry or other relevant work experience.
• A basic understanding of purchasing processes and principles.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.

• An ability to prioritize tasks within established guidelines and practices.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.
• Awareness of relevant stewardship requirements and a commitment to compliance.
