Communications & Account Manager – Qatar

KristiesLab is a strategic marketing, communications and experiential agency working with brands across Lebanon, the Gulf and the wider MENA region.

About the role

You will manage our client accounts in Qatar from brief to final report, and plan their communications across PR, influencers, digital, content and events. You will be the agency's main contact for clients in Doha and work every day with our teams in Lebanon on creative, production and delivery.

What you will do

Client accounts

• Be the main contact for clients in Qatar, including corporate and semi-government clients
• Lead onboarding, briefing sessions, kick-off meetings and regular status reviews
• Attend client meetings in person and be present on-ground at events and activations in Doha
• Follow client satisfaction and the quality of the work delivered
• Handle issues when they come up and propose solutions

Communications and campaigns

• Prepare integrated communications plans covering PR, marketing, influencers, digital and content
• Write key messages adapted to the Qatari and Gulf audience, in a tone that fits corporate and government standards
• Review and approve client content before it is sent
• Advise clients on platforms, timing and campaign ideas

PR and media

• Plan PR and media outreach with Qatari and Gulf media
• Prepare press releases, pitches, talking points and media kits in English and Arabic
• Keep strong relationships with journalists and editors in Qatar
• Coordinate press events, launches and interviews
• Follow media coverage and prepare media reports

Influencer campaigns

• Plan influencer campaigns with Qatar-based and Gulf-based influencers and creators
• Manage briefing, content review and performance tracking
• Coordinate contracts, usage rights and deliverables with the operations team

Coordination with the Lebanon office

• Write and issue client briefs to the creative, digital and production teams
• Run kick-off and alignment meetings between Doha and Lebanon
• Follow deliverables, deadlines and approvals
• Prepare status reports, recaps and client presentations

Business development

• Spot new opportunities with existing clients in Qatar
• Take part in pitches, proposals and tenders
• Represent the agency at industry events in Doha

What we are looking for

• 5 or more years of experience in account management, communications or integrated marketing, ideally in an agency
• Experience working in Qatar or the Gulf, with good knowledge of the local media and influencer landscape
• Based in Doha, or ready to relocate
• Fluent Arabic and English
• Used to formal corporate and government communication standards
• Strong writing and presentation skills: briefs, recaps, proposals and pitches
• Able to manage several accounts and work with a team in another country
• A valid Qatar driving licence is a plus
