Commercial HVAC Senior Service Technician

Carolina Commercial Systems (CCS) is a full-service mechanical contractor serving the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill area. We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Senior Service Technician with at least 3 years of industry experience to join our Commercial Service Team. Pay: $30 – $40.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Commercial HVAC Senior Service Technician, you will:

-Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment according to manufacturer standards.
-Perform scheduled maintenance and testing on equipment covered by maintenance contracts.
-Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
-Record and report service details, including parts used, time cards, and repair notes.
-Maintain communication with the Service Supervisor regarding assignments and schedule changes.
-Provide professional on-site customer service and owner training as needed.
-Operate and maintain company vehicles and tools according to policy.
-Participate in on-call rotations for nights, weekends, and holidays.
-Ensure safety practices are followed to protect yourself, coworkers, customers, and property.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

-At least 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
-A valid driver’s license and ability to meet all physical job requirements.
-EPA refrigerant certification (NATE certification is a plus but not required).
-Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
-Strong technical knowledge, including familiarity with Carrier controls, Trane control products, and DDC technology (preferred).
-Reliability in reporting to work on time and completing daily assignments.
-Professionalism when interacting with customers and coworkers.
-Willingness to complete OSHA 10 and 30 training (provided by CCS).
-Successful completion of a drug screen, background check, and physical readiness testing prior to hire.
