Description
Serve as on-site lead overseeing daily operations of concessions during assigned shifts.
Provide direction, support, and training to concessions staff ensuring tasks are completed and compliance with health and safety requirements.
Manage cash bags and drawers, open and close registers, operate point-of-sale system, prepare end of shift reports.
Prepare and serve concessions food and operate equipment including: popcorn machine, hot-dog cooker, ice maker, soda fountain, pretzel oven/warmer, etc.
Assist Rec Center Supervisor with inventory management and order supplies as needed.
Ensure cleanliness of the concessions area, including equipment and public spaces.
Assist with pre-season preparation and post-season closedown of concession stand.
Assist with timesheets, staff reviews, and creating schedules if requested.
Perform various related duties as assigned.
Previous supervisory experience
Post high school course work
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Ability to work and lead with minimal supervision.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to work with the public.
Ability to handle cash accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to communicate effectively with people from all cultures and backgrounds.
