As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond professionally to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
