## What you’ll do:
This position oversees financial and accounting activities across East Asia (EA) countries, including month-end closing, preliminary financial reviews, and day-to-day operational support for the EA Controller. The role drives process improvements and finance transformation initiatives through automation and digital tools to enhance efficiency, data integrity, and compliance with Eaton policies, local regulations, and SOX requirements.
The position also serves as a key business partner to the commercial team, leveraging strong commercial and financial knowledge to review project costing models, support project bidding, monitor project margins, and provide actionable insights to drive profitability and business growth.
Key responsibilities include leading annual tack-on rate and transfer pricing reviews, conducting BSR reviews, overseeing CapEx spending, and collaborating with GFSS on accounting support.
The role requires strong accounting, internal control, and commercial acumen, with the ability to connect business operations to financial performance, provide meaningful insights to management, and ensure compliance across the EA region.
A. Oversee the day-to-day Financial and accounting activities for EA countries. Supervise the month end closing and lead the Preliminary review(Act vs Forecast).
B.Assist EA controllers to manage day-to-day finance operations, Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement for EA ledgers, drive continuous improvement in relation to systems and processes. Ensure compliance with Eaton polices, local regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Conduct regular training or knowledge sharing with EA finance team to build their capability
C.Utilize digital tools to streamline financial processes(power BI, automate the approval process, etc), increase efficiency and maintain data integrity,create a culture of continuous improvement, support controller to drive finance transformation.
D. Strong commercial knowledge, support sales team by reviewing project costing sheets, tracking on EA project margin and deep dive the margin gap with sales team. Ensure appropriate commercial and risk management processes are in place and support the business in the management of material commercial judgments and actions.
E. Assess the TP impact and tack-on rate review
F. Monthly BSR review for EA ledgers.
G. Manage the EA Capex requirement and spending against Forecast & Profit Plans.
H. Familiar with the SAP system and demonstrate cognitive understanding of the relationship to business processes, specifically financial transactions.
I. Managing requirements for internal and external audit
J. Support Ad-hoc Financial Projects – Such as system upgrading/Implementation, legal entity projects, etc.
K. Any ad-hoc request from management on finance and compliance related
L. To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System:
a. Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking
b. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS
c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements
d. Ensuring the QMS meets its goals
e. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS
f. Create a culture of continuous improvement
## Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. Graduate degree desirable, as well as CPA or equivalent
Over 10 years’ experience with a preference for someone who has audit firm experience
Possesses good communication skills to deal with various stakeholders and deal with complexity and ambiguity.
Candidate must detail oriented and responsible for data accuracy
Strong written and presentation skills and must be able to effectively work in a cross-functional team environment
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to review project costing proposals and provide financial insights to support project bidding and decision-making
Experience in SAP is a plus. Must be proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word software
Relevant experience in a similar role or industry.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Results-oriented with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
