Job Title: Sales Representative
About the Opportunity: Ascensia Diabetes Care is now looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to help expand our presence and make a meaningful impact in diabetes care. In this independent role, you will build trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals and pharmacies, provide expert product support and training, and drive business growth across your territory. The job requires you to be proactive and self-motivated. You will play a role in delivering innovative solutions that support people living with diabetes, while working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment that values initiative, relationship building, and commercial excellence.
Location: This role covers Oslo, Hedmark and South Rogaland.
The ideal candidate is located in Oslo.
What you will be doing:
Manage sales and customer relationships for Ascensia products within the assigned territory, serving as a trusted partner to diabetes nurses and pharmacy staff.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular visits.
Participate in sales and marketing activities, including customer meetings, exhibitions, seminars, congresses, and diabetes awareness events.
Use customer and market insights to plan territory activities, prioritize accounts, maintain CRM records, and report on market developments.
Keep up to date with product knowledge, competitor activity, and sales best practices, while sharing insights and contributing to team success.
What you need for success:
You must be independent, a good listener, well organized, analytical and have good interpersonal skills to build good long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
You should feel comfortable interpreting numbers so that you can effectively create the most appropriate sales visit plan for yourself and analyze the market conditions and situation in a smart way.
Bachelor's degree in Science, Health Sciences, or a related field preferred.
Experience in healthcare sales or strong desire to learn sales.
Experience or knowledge of diabetes care and/or medical devices is an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian, with a communicative level of English are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly is required.
