Sales Group
Identifies and establishes relationships with new customers and/or manages and builds relationships with existing customers. Provides internal and external technical and/or customer support in the development and application of products, processing techniques and resolution of problems.
Sales
Maximizes revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services either through direct sales or through a base of reseller partners such as dealers, systems integrators, value-added resellers, distributors or retailers. Administers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals. May identify and establish relationships with new customers. May locate, evaluate and recruit potential channel partners. Supports partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, such as marketing, advertising, sales promotions and training, to achieve revenue targets.
Professional with significant knowledge within own discipline and knowledge of related disciplines, completing specialized and/or moderately complex tasks under moderate supervision. May supervise employees, focused on task performance and delivery of specialized processes.
• Requires conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and developing knowledge of related job disciplines.
• Has developed a detailed understanding of key business drivers through multiple years of experience.
• May supervise or act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Has the ability to understand and influence.
• Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team.
• Begins to work independently with minimal to moderate guidance.
• Analyzes potential solutions to problems (with or without vague/unstructured aspects) using experience, judgment and precedents.
