Position Overview

E.L. Blake Corporation is seeking a Business Analyst to support the company's Business Development and growth objectives. Working closely with the Director of Business Development, the Business Analyst will conduct market and federal contracting research, analyze business information, and provide insights that support the identification and evaluation of potential business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Research federal agencies, programs, contracts, procurement activity, markets, customers, competitors, and industry trends relevant to ELB.
• Analyze business and market information to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that support ELB's growth objectives.
• Support the Director of Business Development in evaluating potential business opportunities through research, data analysis, and comparison of available information.
• Develop reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, presentations, and other analytical products that clearly communicate research findings and business insights.
• Present factual findings and observations to the Director of Business Development and other designated stakeholders.
• Collaborate across ELB to gather and analyze information relevant to assigned business analyses.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Management, or a related field; relevant professional experience may substitute for formal education
• 0–2 years of professional, internship, or academic experience involving business analysis, data analysis, research, or a related area
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative information
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or internship exposure within federal government contracting or a DoD environment
• Familiarity with federal government contracting and procurement processes
• Experience conducting market, competitive, or business research
• Experience with data visualization, dashboards, or business reporting tools
