Location: Spanish Fork, UT

Pay: $100,000 to $120,000 per year DOE

Are you passionate about empowering teenage girls to thrive and heal? Do you have a strong background in psychology, behavioral science, social work, or a related field? If you're nodding “yes,” New Haven has a powerful leadership opportunity waiting for you.

As the Executive Director of our Stabilization & Assessment program, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of adolescent mental health treatment. Located in the stunning landscapes of Spanish Fork Utah, New Haven is more than just a residential treatment center — it’s a sanctuary of hope and transformation for girls ages 12-17 and their families.

You’ll lead with heart and strategy, overseeing all facets of the program — from clinical excellence and operational efficiency to staff development and family engagement. Our work centers around deep, family-focused healing, with a commitment to supporting girls through complex challenges like trauma, relational struggles, and emotional health needs.

This is your chance to lead a mission-driven team in a warm, home-like setting where clinical innovation meets compassionate care. Join us, and make an impact where purpose meets leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Stabilization & Assessment program by driving strategic planning, policy development, and long-term vision execution.
  • Oversee financial performance, assist in annual budget planning, and ensure effective resource allocation aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and achieve annual program goals, tracking progress and driving continuous improvement across departments.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness, ensuring compliance with contracts, optimizing operations, and implementing high-impact administrative strategies.
  • Maintain high-quality standards, ensuring all regulatory, clinical, and operational requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, referral sources, and community partners through proactive communication and collaboration.
  • Champion employee engagement and culture, overseeing staff relations and promoting a supportive, inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure a safe, healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors through active risk management and safety protocols.
  • Stay ahead of legal and regulatory issues, taking proactive steps to protect and ensure the program’s long-term success.
  • Lead key meetings, including weekly administrative sessions and cross-functional gatherings, to align and motivate teams

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in residential or secure treatment settings, with a strong ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Master’s degree in a human services-related field required; Bachelors degree accepted.
  • Proven ability to analyze and present data—comfortable creating charts, diagrams, and reports using basic algebra and geometry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills—able to engage clearly with staff, students, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of legal, medical, and clinical documentation requirements, including confidentiality and reporting standards.
  • Adept at multitasking and prioritizing in fast-paced environments while staying highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Skilled at building collaborative, high-performing teams and fostering a positive, mission-driven culture.
  • Proficient with basic computer systems and software, with the ability to learn internal platforms quickly.
  • Comfortable making critical, informed decisions based on diverse input and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ready to be mobile and engaged when needed.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive Benefit Program that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, voluntary life and AD&D insurance, long-term disability, 401K with company matching, and paid paternal leave.
  • Company Paid Holidays
  • PTO accrual schedule
