Description
Owner of Clearly's client growth in Spain. The job is growth: constant experimentation across every channel and every step of the client journey, backed by hard numbers. This is not a team lead and not a structured marketing manager waiting for a brief; it's a hands-on, entrepreneurial operator who takes the Spanish market and makes it move.
Clearly is a two-sided marketplace: clients on one side, therapists on the other. This role owns the client side in Spain. You report to the CMO, you have no direct reports, and you decide most things yourself.
How will you make an impact?
- Acquisition. Co-own the Spanish channel mix and the budget behind it. Work with local specialists and agencies as well as the central growth team to set the direction, challenge the numbers, and decide where spend moves.
- New channels. Identify, prioritize, and test new channels: influencers, podcasters, affiliates, partnerships.
- Partner acquisition. Recruit, onboard and manage new high-quality affiliates and partners, from initial outreach and negotiations to performance management and optimization.
- Local activations. Plan and run local activations: events, offline presence, OOH, etc.
- Analytics. Own the numbers at every level: know how and where tracking is set up, pull data from different tools into one clear picture, interpret it, and see where the biggest growth is hiding. Reading data honestly and knowing when a number is lying to you is.
- Voice of the client and the market. Be the person inside the company who knows the Spanish client best: what they search for, what stops them booking, why they leave. Bring that back to the central team with enough rigour that it changes what gets built, and bring the commercial reality with it.
- Ownership. You're the connective tissue between the Spanish market and everyone else: central product, growth, analytics and brand, plus the other local teams. Suggest and implement initiatives outside of your scope. We're all founders here: set direction, move fast, decide without waiting for permission.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Hands-on experience in digital marketing and paid acquisition driving measurable growth, preferably in hyper-growth and/or marketplace companies;
- Proven ability to identify, test and scale new channels, including the ones you decided to stop;
- Experience planning and delivering local activations and events measured on commercial outcomes;
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making: you bring data together from different tools (GA4, Mixpanel, ad platforms, attribution), interpret it, and act on it. SQL is not required;
- Strong commercial acumen: comfortable with unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback) as a working tool rather than a vocabulary;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to get the best out of local specialists, agencies, central product and growth teams, and partners on the other side of a negotiation;
- Entrepreneurial mindset: at ease in ambiguity, quick to act, and genuinely hands-on. There is no one to delegate the execution to;
- Strong appetite for AI and process automation, used daily to go faster and deeper;
- Native or fully fluent Spanish with real instinct for the local market, plus professional English, our working language.
Nice to have
- Experience with user and client research: running interviews, surveys and competitor analysis, and turning the insights into actionable decisions;
- Experience recruiting and managing affiliates and partners end to end: outreach, negotiation, commercial terms, onboarding and performance optimization;
- Sales or account management experience. The ability to convince, persuade and close is a real advantage.
