A Career at HARMAN
As a technology leader that is rapidly on the move, HARMAN is filled with people who are focused on making life better. Innovation, inclusivity and teamwork are a part of our DNA. When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you’ll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do every day.
NPI Launch & Brand Events
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of new product introduction (NPI) launch events for JBL and Harman Kardon in China—from concept, venue, and run-of-show to media/KOL experience and post-launch amplification.
- Conceptualize and execute consumer brand events (pop-ups, music/lifestyle moments, festival and cultural activations) that elevate JBL and H/K from product brands to lifestyle symbols.
- Ensure every launch and brand event connects to shoppable moments across Tmall, JD.com, Douyin, and offline retail touchpoints.
Roadshows & Trade Shows
- Build and manage the national roadshow calendar, scaling successful formats across tier-1 to tier-3 cities with consistent brand quality.
- Own HARMAN's presence at trade shows and industry exhibitions (consumer electronics, audio, and lifestyle expos), covering booth design, experiential programming, lead capture, and partner engagement.
Internal & Channel Events
- Plan and deliver dealer meetings, distributor conferences, and retail partner events that communicate product priorities, sell-in stories, and channel programs.
- Support internal corporate moments—annual meetings, sales kick-offs, and leadership town halls—working closely with Sales leadership and HR/Comms.
Agency & Vendor Management
- Brief, select, and manage creative, event production, and experiential agencies; build a high-performing agency roster with clear scopes, SLAs, and evaluation frameworks.
- Own event budgets, contracts, timelines, and on-site quality control; negotiate for maximum value while protecting brand standards and safety/compliance requirements.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central coordination hub across Sales, E-commerce, Retail, Product, PR, and Finance to align event narratives with commercial priorities.
- Interface with Global and APAC brand teams to localize global campaigns (e.g., Made to Be Heard) and report China market learnings upward.
- Maintain strong external relationships with venues, production vendors, media, and industry partners; represent the brands professionally in all settings.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track event KPIs (attendance quality, media/KOL reach, engagement, lead generation, sell-through impact, event ROI).
- Run post-event reviews and build event playbooks to institutionalize best practices; share learnings with the APAC marketing community.
