Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. The role focuses on integrating various components within the development ecosystem to ensure seamless operation and high-quality outcomes. Daily activities include executing continuous testing across multiple facets such as security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. The position also involves developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts, configuring data and environments, and actively engaging in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects are integral to supporting ongoing improvements throughout the entire testing lifecycle, ensuring robust and reliable software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and implement best practices within the testing framework.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing methodologies and tools.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Software Quality Assurance (SQA).
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and scripting languages related to Playwright.
- Experience in designing and executing continuous testing strategies including security and regression testing.
- Ability to configure and manage test data and environments to support automated testing.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools to facilitate continuous improvement.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
