What you'll do...
Role summary:As Data Ventures grows across markets, products, and client types, our commercial systems must operate as an integrated ecosystem, not a collection of tools. This role is the lead business partner for that ecosystem, accelerating revenue and maximizing commercial productivity. You will build a prioritized, business-led systems roadmap, connect data and workflows across the commercial lifecycle, set standards and governance, evaluate technology investments, and simplify work through process design, automation, and AI. You will partner closely with the Senior Manager of Sales Tools and Technology, who leads technical delivery, to turn requirements into scalable solutions across markets and teams.
About the team:
Walmart Data Ventures exists to unlock the full value of Walmart's first-party data by developing and commercializing B2B data products that empower merchants and suppliers to make better, faster, and more customer-centric decisions. This role sits within Global Revenue Operations and will partner closely with Commercial teams, Sales Tools & Technology, Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, Data, and other enterprise technology partners.
What you'll do:
Own a multi-year commercial systems roadmap aligned to growth across products, markets, and segments; set quarterly OKRs with Senior Manager of Sales Tools and Technology. Streamline lead-to-revenue, from routing and scoring through quoting, forecasting, and billing handoff, using automation, AI, and system data to fix recurring friction. Set CRM, workflow, and data standards for a unique source of truth, aligned with Walmart policy; global by design, local by exception. Build foundations to scale AI, evaluating Agentforce and third-party tools on value and integration. Measure adoption, data quality, automation, and impact. Align teams, communicate tradeoffs to senior leaders, and drive adoption.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's in Business, Technology, Information Systems, or related field 6–8+ years in RevOps, commercial operations, business systems, or CRM, including leading complex commercial tech ecosystems (Salesforce preferred), ideally building an end-to-end GTM stack Strong grasp of commercial workflows (lead management, pipeline, forecasting, quoting, client activation), with experience automating manual work and preparing data for AI Data governance and quality experience, ideally across markets or business units Technical fluency in Salesforce architecture, data models, and APIs; able to assess feasibility and challenge designs Proven cross-functional influence, strong executive communication, and a track record driving system adoption Salesforce certifications and SQL preferred At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
