About the Role
Springer Nature Health is pursuing an ambitious growth and transformation agenda - including a significant AI agenda - and is investing in the people and structures to deliver it. We are looking for a (Senior) Manager, Transformation & Performance to help turn our agenda into disciplined execution - keeping a complex portfolio of initiatives on track and contributing to one of the most significant change efforts in the business.
You will report into the Head of Strategy & Transformation and work closely with senior leaders across Springer Nature and Springer Nature Health.
Role Responsibilities:
Drive growth and transformation initiatives across the programme’s core areas - AI, strategy, go-to-market, product and business model, performance, and people
Translate strategy into execution — building and maintaining delivery plans, milestones, critical-path tracking, and decision logs that keep initiatives moving
Support the Transformation Office in maintaining execution discipline, governance cadence, and prioritisation across workstreams
Coordinate cross-functional teams, holding workstreams accountable to outcomes and timelines and proactively unblocking issues
Prepare executive- and board-level materials — decks, updates, and recommendations for senior leadership
Bring AI fluency to the work, with a clear understanding of how AI is reshaping products, workflows, and business models
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential
Demonstrable experience, ideally combining business consulting with in-house strategy or transformation work
A proven track record of working directly with senior management and C-level stakeholders
Strong command of transformation, strategy and execution — equally comfortable with the slide and the spreadsheet, the vision, the people and the operational detail
Exceptional communication, coordination, and presentation skills
A structured, hands-on, self-directed working style, with the ability to thrive amid ambiguity and pace
Genuine interest in healthcare, life sciences, and AI
Fluent in English
Strong change management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring people along through complex organisational change
Experience working with multidisciplinary and international teams across different markets and cultures
Desirable
Fluent in German or Dutch
Healthcare, life science and AI sector experience
Note for candidates in the Netherlands: As per our local policy, please be aware that this role will be open only for internal candidates within the first 2 weeks. Afterwards, external applications will be progressed
