Description
Our client is a fast-growing UK-headquartered international law firm with a well-regarded Hong Kong dispute resolution practice, advising a broad range of corporate, financial and private clients across the region. The firm is seeking a Hong Kong-qualified partner to strengthen its general commercial litigation and international arbitration capabilities, joining a stable, collegiate team with strong regional connectivity and a genuinely full-service platform.
The successful candidate will manage a broad caseload of complex commercial disputes and international arbitration matters, working closely with the firm's corporate and regulatory teams to deliver an integrated dispute resolution offering to clients. Additional experience in related contentious areas such as insolvency or restructuring disputes would be viewed favourably, though it is not essential. The role offers genuine opportunity to build and market a practice within a well-resourced, supportive platform, including access to established relationships with intermediaries, financial advisers and litigation funders.
Candidates should be Hong Kong-qualified with a proven track record of delivering complex commercial litigation and international arbitration services, together with an existing portable client base sufficient to support a sustainable international law firm practice. Strong technical ability, business development drive and the ability to collaborate across practice groups are essential. Fluency in English is required; Chinese language ability is helpful but not essential.
