As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll be part of a major investment in best-in-class manufacturing, new capabilities, and long-term growth, helping maintain the building infrastructure, utilities, and facility support systems that keep our new 1.5 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. In the role of our Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and building systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain:
- HVAC and air handling systems
- Compressed air systems
- Chilled water and cooling systems
- Domestic water and sanitary systems
- Fire protection and sprinkler systems
- Lighting systems
- Building electrical distribution (within qualifications)
- Dock equipment and overhead doors
- Roof drainage systems
- Facility plumbing
- Building automation systems (BAS)
- Monitor utility systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Complete work orders using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment history accurately.
- Support installation and commissioning of new facility equipment and infrastructure.
- Project management - Coordinate with contractors performing specialized maintenance or construction activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.
- Support emergency response efforts for facility-related issues.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
- 2+ years of experience in Industrial Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology AND 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing facility.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, piping diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Experience using CMMS software.
- Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening
- Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large manufacturing facilities (500,000+ square feet preferred).
- Electrical troubleshooting experience up to 480V.
- Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Experience with compressed air systems, chillers, cooling towers, and industrial utilities.
- Forklift, aerial lift, and scissor lift certification.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies.

Starting Hourly Wage: $40.00USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year. You’ll also enjoy a full benefits package, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. Please note that the stated pay rate applies to US locations only.
