Accountant

Garodia Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our educational institution. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, to support decision making. Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements- Monitor and analyze school budgets, expenses, and revenues to identify areas for improvement and cost-cutting opportunities- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions- Collaborate with other departments to create and monitor financial plans and budgets- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations- Conduct regular financial audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities- Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax filings and other financial reports to relevant authorities- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, accounting regulations, and financial reporting standards Qualifications:- Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or a related field- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the education sector- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices- Proficiency in accounting software.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment  At Garodia Education, we value diversity and equal opportunity, and we are committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all our employees.
