As a Customer Service Representative at UPS, you certainly won’t have the standard customer service job you know. By being in direct contact with our customers, you establish and support a high level of customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do

Of course, customer satisfaction is very important to you. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be involved in answering phone calls and responding to emails, to answer transport and/or warehouse operations related questions and complaints. Your main focus is delivering a high-quality service by delivering and monitoring the end-to-end service request, dealing with primary escalations and defining the first level of solutions, escalating unresolved issues, and finding structural solutions for the reoccurring escalations.

You’ll start your day with monitoring existing orders and ensuring service is made. Does a customer want to know the status of their order? Then you inform them with the needed information. Next to that, you prepare and manage customer service calls and establish a strong working relationship with customers and vendors. Besides you’ll have a daily connection and cooperation with other internal functions. By using your sharp eye, you can spot reoccurring issues, after which you ensure that they are resolved on a structural level. In that way, you play an important role in improving our processes.

What you’ll need

• At least a MBO 4 degree;
• Working experience in customer service;
• Strong analytical skills. Also, you’re well-organized, detailed, and accurate; 
• Stress resistance and flexibility: you’re able to work under stressful circumstances and have basic project management skills.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing, Dutch is an advantage.
