Associate Director, Admissions Operations

Undergraduate Admissions:

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions supports the university in meeting its strategic enrollment goals and fulfilling the UCF Strategic Plan. It is responsible for coordinating the identification, recruitment, admission, and enrollment of all undergraduate first-time-in-college, transfer, non degree, dual enrollment, early admission and non-Florida public institution transient students. The office leverages the UCF brand to market, communicate, and engage with talented and academically qualified students who will enrich our community and achieve academic and personal excellence.

 

The Opportunity:

UCF's Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking an Associate Director, Admissions Operations. We are seeking a leader who will provide strategic direction, planning, and operational oversight for one of UCF's most high-impact enrollment functions — ensuring that the systems, workflows, and processes that support student access are efficient, equitable, and continuously improving. Classification title: Associate Director, Admissions

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for Undergraduate Admissions Operations, including management of application processing workflows, web-based admissions systems, verification processes, policy development, and operational procedures to support enrollment goals and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Lead technology, process improvement, and data analysis initiatives, including the development, testing, implementation, and optimization of admissions systems (Slate, PeopleSoft, Raptor), business processes, reporting, and operational studies to improve effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Serve as a strategic and regulatory resource for Undergraduate Admissions, collaborating with campus partners, interpreting and implementing admissions and residency policies and regulations, contributing to departmental planning and budgeting, supporting operational efforts, and representing the department on university committees.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's and 6+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree and 4+ years of relevant experience with at least 2+ year(s) of leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of higher education experience, preferably in admissions, enrollment management, or student support services.
• Supervisory experience in a higher education admissions or enrollment services environment, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams through operational change.
• Experience with admissions technology platforms, particularly Slate, PeopleSoft, and/or Raptor, including system configuration, testing, implementation, or optimization.
• Demonstrated experience leading process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives, including business process evaluation, workflow redesign, and implementation.
• Experience interpreting and applying admissions and/or residency policies and regulations, including Florida-specific compliance frameworks.
• Experience leveraging data analysis and reporting to support enrollment planning, operational decision-making, or continuous improvement efforts.

 

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

 

• The anticipated salary range for this position is $64,518 - $75,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
• All applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H-1B transfers or employment-based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.
