Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner, Corporate & Investment Banking (C&IB) will serve as the dedicated recruiting lead for Texas Capital's C&IB team, a business unit of 300+ professionals with a significant and sustained hiring mandate. This role sits at the intersection of talent strategy and business execution, working in direct partnership with C&IB leadership to build a scalable, high-performing recruiting engine from the ground up. As the team's insider expert, this individual will embed within the business and become a trusted advisor on recruiting strategy, market intelligence, and hiring execution.
Competencies:
- Analytical mindset for interpreting data, market trends, and recruitment metrics to drive decisions specific to the C&IB talent market
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility with senior banking leadership, hiring managers, and candidates at all levels
- Capacity to maintain long-term relationships with passive candidates and specialized talent networks within corporate and investment banking
- Skilled at advising and influencing senior leaders on recruitment strategy, interviewing best practices, and selection decisions
- Ability to manage and evaluate agency partnerships, ensuring ROI and alignment with hiring needs when internal sourcing requires external support
- Negotiate offers and compensation that align to market data, competitive banking compensation structures, and firm budget
- Ability to guide leaders through complex, high-stakes hiring challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate experience for senior-level and specialized banking talent
- Consistent documentation of recruitment activities to ensure audit-readiness and compliance
- Ability to partner with HR Business Partner and business leaders to drive solutions for talent gaps directly affecting business performance and revenue-generating capacity
Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce a new TA operating model and structured interview framework
- Manage top-of-funnel strategy, building and maintaining robust pipelines to meet an active and growing hiring mandate
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and attract passive candidates in specialized corporate and investment banking talent markets
- Partner directly with senior leadership to define role requirements, competencies, and selection criteria for critical hires
- Attend all C&IB meetings to stay closely aligned with business priorities, organizational changes and evolving hiring needs
- Manage relationships with external agency partners when internal sourcing requires supplemental support, ensuring quality and cost-effective outcomes
- Champion a high-quality, white-glove candidate experience appropriate for senior banking talent, ensuring timely and professional communication throughout
- Provide coaching and training to hiring managers on the new interview framework, structured evaluation techniques, and consistent decision-making practices
- Leverage market data and competitive intelligence to advise leadership on talent availability, compensation benchmarking, and emerging trends in the banking talent market
- Document all recruitment activity to ensure compliance with company policy and applicable employment law
- Continuously refine recruiting workflows and the TA operating model to drive efficiency and scalability as the team's hiring needs evolve
- Serve as a trusted advisor and become a go-to resource on recruitment strategy
