We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Piece Rate Electrician to perform electrical installations in new residential construction. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who works efficiently, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can meet production goals without compromising safety, code compliance, or attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Residential Electrical Installation: Perform residential electrical installations according to approved plans, specifications, company standards, and applicable electrical codes.
- Plans & Layout: Read and interpret electrical plans and complete layouts accurately to ensure installations are completed correctly the first time.
- Production & Efficiency: Complete assigned homes, units, or phases efficiently while meeting established production schedules and quality expectations.
- Quality & Inspections: Ensure all work is complete, code-compliant, and ready for inspection. Address punch-list items, corrections, or deficiencies related to assigned work as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical installation issues efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Materials & Tools: Properly use tools, equipment, and materials while minimizing waste and maintaining an organized work area.
- Safety & Code Compliance: Follow all company safety procedures and perform electrical work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and other applicable requirements.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with supervisors, builders, team members, and other trades regarding job progress, scheduling, material needs, and jobsite concerns.
- Timekeeping: Accurately record all hours worked and follow company timekeeping procedures, regardless of the piece-rate compensation structure.

- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on residential electrical experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret residential electrical plans and layouts.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable residential electrical standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned work efficiently.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Willing to undergo pre-employment background checks, including criminal, driving, and drug screenings.
