Position Overview
The Director of Enterprise Sales plays a critical role at Deep Sync by building new relationships with brands and partners looking for data solutions and identity infrastructure. This encompasses work across data and identity-related services used to power marketing efforts, complete customer profiles, and power strategy. The Director of Enterprise Sales will need a wide range of skills: navigating relationships with senior executives, creation of pitch and product materials for specific prospects, delivery of pitches to prospects, negotiation of deal and contract terms, management of a deal pipeline, and oversight of RFPs and POCs in which Deep Sync participates. This person will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and have close interaction with the senior leadership team at Deep Sync.
Essential Skills:
- Adept at building and developing senior relationships (up to the C-suite) with both partners and customers.
- Skilled communicator, able to write clear product positioning and project outlines in a narrative and both build and deliver compelling presentations.
- Experience writing, reviewing, and negotiating enterprise-level contracts.
- Deep understanding of identity, data, and ad tech, particularly for use in marketing workflows.
- Strength in, and proper judgment for, knowing when to scale up to see the big picture with a partner or a customer, while still being able to dive deep into the details where needed.
- Ability to work closely with a variety of teams, from sales and marketing to product and engineering, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business into the Deep Sync enterprise pipeline.
- Oversee and manage customer deliverables for testing and POCs.
- Close new enterprise deals for Deep Sync.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Google and Microsoft productivity suites.
- Ability to both manage and contribute to a project directly as the owner of a task or project.
Experience:
- At least 10 years in ad tech or identity-related sales, business development, or partner management roles.
Location: Kirkland, WA
In-Office 5 days per week with remote flexibility
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $150,000–$180,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): This position is eligible for a target annual incentive equal to 100% of base salary, with compensation structured as a 50/50 base salary and variable incentive. Variable compensation is based on the achievement of individual sales quotas and applicable company performance metrics. Commission earnings are uncapped, with accelerators available for overachievement in accordance with the Company's Sales Incentive Plan.
