Respond to and resolve facility-related requests and emergencies in a timely and professional manner while maintaining detailed records in computerized maintenance management systems
Conduct regular inspections of building spaces, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Manage vendor performance and coordinate contractor activities including scheduling, access control, and quality assurance of completed work
Support sustainability initiatives by monitoring energy consumption, implementing waste reduction programs, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements
Maintain accurate documentation of building operations including maintenance logs, vendor contracts, compliance certificates, and incident reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute facility projects, moves, renovations, and special events while minimizing disruption to daily operations
Participate in emergency response procedures and support business continuity planning to ensure building resilience and occupant safety
Required qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in facility management, building operations, or related field
Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and general building maintenance
Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite applications
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels
Basic understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA requirements applicable to facility operations
Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies and occasional requirement to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred qualifications:
Associate's degree or technical certification in Facilities Management, Building Engineering, or related discipline
Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or equivalent credentials
Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and energy management platforms
Knowledge of sustainability practices and LEED or other green building certification programs
