Msuez UK is a leading financial institution with a strong presence in Cape Town, South Africa. We are currently seeking a talented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bank Teller.

As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing a variety of banking transactions for our clients. Your main duties will include processing deposits and withdrawals, cashing checks, and assisting with account inquiries and transactions. You will also be responsible for promoting and cross-selling our products and services to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing
• Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on products and services
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to customers
• Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Follow all bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge of bank products and services
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service or cash handling role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Knowledge of banking products and services is a plus
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
