Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Bank Teller to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing various financial transactions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their banking needs in a professional and friendly manner
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Verify customer information and ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to customers
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly
• Maintain and balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the end of each day
• Stay updated on bank policies, procedures, and products to provide accurate information to customers
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve branch goals and targets
• Adhere to all security and confidentiality protocols to protect customer information and bank assets

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred)
• Previous experience in banking or customer service is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other banking software
• Knowledge of banking regulations and procedures
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Contract Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The working hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with occasional weekend shifts. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development within our organization.
