Import/Export Specialist

A Day in Your Life at MKS
As a Import & Export Specialist at MKS Inc., you will collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Customer Support, and external logistics partners. You will report to the Manager, Import/Export Compliance and play a key role in coordinating international and domestic shipments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting continuous improvement across all export activities — including those governed by dual‑use, military, and ANCEX/ITAR/EAR regulations.

You Will Make an Impact By :

•     Coordinate international and domestic shipments in line with production and customer requirements
•     Prepare and validate import/export documentation (invoices, declarations, certificates of origin)
•     Support licensing and reporting for military and dual‑use goods (ANCEX, ITAR/EAR)
•     Ensure compliance with EU customs regulations and internal policies
•     Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to resolve shipment or customs issues
•     Maintain accurate records and support internal/external audits

Skills You Bring :

• •     3–5 years of experience in international logistics, customs, or trade compliance
  •     Strong knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and HS classification
  •     Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Office
  •     Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  •     Experience with ITAR/EAR or dual‑use regulations is a strong advantage
