Learning & Development Coordinator

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 | Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Hybrid

The Learning & Development Coordinator is a new role within People + Culture that supports the execution of Conifer’s learning and development programs by administering the Learning Management System (LMS), tracking and scheduling training, and upholding brand standards across Learning & Development materials. The Coordinator reports to the National Trainer and also serves as a backup facilitator for new-hire orientation sessions, helping ensure a consistent onboarding experience for every new employee.

How You'll Make an Impact

Every day, you'll help build knowledgeable, confident teams by:

• Manage day-to-day administration of Conifer’s LMS, including uploading an organizing training content, assigning individualized learning paths, and   maintaining accurate training calendars.
•  Track and report employee training completion, participation, and compliance status; flag gaps or concerns to the National Trainer and department leaders.
•  Support brand standards consistency across L&D materials - templates, presentations, communications, and LMS content - in coordination with the   National Trainer.
•  Serve as backup facilitator for new-hire orientation sessions as needed, ensuring a consistent onboarding experience when the National Trainer is unavailable.
•  Serve as backup facilitator for corporate trainings sessions as needed.
•  Respond to routine training requests submitted through email and the L&D ticketing system; escalate complex or specialized requests to the National Trainer.
•  Coordinate logistics for training sessions and events, including scheduling, virtual meeting or room setup, materials preparation, and attendee communications.
•  Maintain and update onboarding checklists, new-hire communications, and training documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
•  Assist with evaluating training effectiveness by distributing pre- and post-training assessments and compiling participant feedback.
•  Support the coordination of L&D events as needed.
•  Perform other L&D administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

You Bring

• 1-2 years of administrative, coordination, HR, or training-support experience required.
• Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred.
• Experience in affordable housing, multifamily, or real estate a plus. 
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communications, education, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. 

Requirements

Requirements & Core Competencies 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
•  Clear, professional written and verbal communicator.
• Comfortable presenting to small groups (e.g., new-hire orientation) as a backup facilitator.
• Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Experience with LMS platforms and/or Canva or similar design tools a plus.
• Customer-service mindset; collaborative and dependable.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
