We are looking for a Marketing Specialist that is a self-starter who is responsible for assisting the Marketing Officer to strategize and implement marketing activities for new and existing customers. They will work closely with the Business Intelligence Specialist to develop marketing activities to help drive business development. This position provides administrative support to the Marketing Officer, lenders and affiliated companies.

- Assist in the content development, creation and implementation of the marketing initiatives for the Bank
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Specialist and business development teams to support the Bank’s strategic objectives
- Communicate campaign objectives and deliverables to business development team
- Oversee and maintain online marketing channels including website, intranet, Digital Academy and social media accounts
- Lead and guide business development team members in the effective and professional use of social media to drive engagement and support growth initiatives
- Responsible for maintaining and distributing promotional supplies
- Provide assistance with planning and hosting business networking and employee engagement events
- Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Canva, or other design software
- Must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools

- This is a full-time position performed in a regular office work environment and will routinely use standard office equipment. Travel may be required to 1st National branch offices, meetings with vendors or shopping for event materials.
Education and Experience
- 1-2 years of professional experience required
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing or a related field preferred
- Banking experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Experience with Social Media content creation in a professional setting
- Experience with event planning, event coordination and event execution
- Strong verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
