Job Description Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Operations professional to assume a critical Planning role within our manufacturing operations, This position carries end-to-end ownership of production planning, supply chain coordination, and change management processes, and requires an individual capable of driving cross-functional alignment across engineering, supply chain and product line teams. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of coordination between demand planning, manufacturing execution, and engineering change functions, ensuring operational continuity and process discipline across the organization.Job Description
Key Responsibility:
Leading and facilitating Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) calls with respective product line teams, ensuring that demand signals, production capacity, and inventory positions are effectively reconciled on a recurring basis.
Will own and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS), translating demand forecasts into actionable production plans while accounting for capacity constraints, material availability, and lead times.
A core aspect of the role involves comprehensive production planning to ensure manufacturing schedules are optimized for efficiency, on-time delivery, and resource utilization.
Additionally, the role requires conducting periodic material reviews in close collaboration with the Supply Chain function, proactively identifying potential shortages, excess inventory, or supply risks, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Will also be entrusted with driving the implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) across the production environment, coordinating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing stakeholders to ensure changes are executed accurately, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, production planning, or supply chain functions within a manufacturing or industrial setting is required.
Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational capabilities, sound judgment in cross-functional decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, given the collaborative and coordination-intensive nature of this role.
Desired Skills:
