One of our current opportunities is a permanent, part-time Payroll Officer position based in the East Ryde region, working 30 hours per week. This role is particularly suited to someone with KRONOS experience who enjoys working in a structured payroll environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely payroll outcomes.

The Opportunity

Depending on the role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end or partial payroll processes, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and within required deadlines.
• Maintain employee records, payroll data and system information.
• Review timesheets, attendance records, overtime, leave and allowances.
• Interpret relevant awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions where required.
• Respond to payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile payroll data and assist with reporting and compliance requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure payroll records are accurate and up to date.

About You

We are interested in speaking with payroll professionals who have:

• Previous experience in a payroll position, ideally with exposure to end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to payroll accuracy.
• Good knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and employment conditions.
• Confidence using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.

For the East Ryde permanent part-time opportunity, previous KRONOS experience is specifically sought, along with the ability to commit to 30 hours per week.
