Job Summary

Develop and drive the strategy to create growth and profitability of sales within a specific industry segment.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

• Possess expertise knowledge of the segment’s customers, product applications, and competitive environment.
• Develop and implement the strategy that supports the overall growth and profitability goals in the segment, including sales process, product information, and inventory.
• Monitor sales and marketing activity of the segment to provide leadership and direction that drives maximum performance, sales growth, and profitability results.
• Work effectively within the matrix structure to coordinate activities with District Sales Managers, Pricing Director, Product Managers, and Operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key OEM’s in the segment that represent that industry. Establish and direct activities that develop the company’s presence within the segment.
• Management of people, as required.  Hire, train, manage, and develop sales and business development staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: 

• BA/BS in Sales/Marketing/Business Admin
• Extensive sales/business development experience, product knowledge and expertise.
• Extensive industry knowledge.
• 10 years of experience in sales and management roles.

Preferred Requirements:

• MBA Continuing professional development.

Job Compensation

$150 - $180K annually
