Role Description
The Vice President, Global Research Broker Vote Solutions is responsible for leading the operational
governance and delivery of broker vote, research interaction and client analytics data across the Global
Research business. The role serves as a critical link between Research, Sales, Clients, Operations, Technology
and external vendors, ensuring the accurate distribution of research intelligence while driving transformation
initiatives.
The successful candidate will combine strong operational leadership with client-facing engagement,
technology partnership and program management expertise to enhance data quality, improve business
processes, support commercial objectives and deliver scalable solutions across the Research platform
landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of Broker Vote Feed Operations supporting the Global Research
- business.
- Oversee the governance, quality and distribution of research interaction, readership, corporate access
- and broker vote data.
- Collaborate with Head of Global Research Management Reporting to drive consistency and alignment
- in management reporting.
- Ensure operational integrity, reconciliation and accuracy of data delivered to internal stakeholders and
- external clients.
- Define and maintain operational controls, service standards and governance frameworks.
- Manage production issues, escalations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Business & Technology Partnership
- Act as the primary business representative for Client Services and Corporate Access platforms in
technology initiatives.
- Partner with Technology teams to define business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Translate complex operational and client requirements into technology roadmaps and development
priorities.
- Drive system enhancements, process automation and platform optimization initiatives.
- Support testing, implementation and change management activities for new capabilities.
- Client & Commercial Engagement
- Partner with Research, Sales and client-facing teams to address operational, data and reporting
requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on broker vote, research consumption analytics and client reporting
solutions.
- Investigate and resolve client issues, data challenges and operational exceptions.
- Change Management
- Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives across Client Services and supporting platforms.
- Manage platform migrations, vendor transitions and operating model improvements.
- Develop business cases, implementation plans and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Coordinate activities across business, operations, technology, finance, legal and compliance teams.
- Drive operational eiciency, risk reduction and cost optimization initiatives.
- Vendor & Third-Party Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers supporting Client Services.
- Oversee vendor performance, service delivery and contractual obligations.
- Lead requirements discussions, enhancement prioritization and issue resolution with third-party
partners.
- Ensure alignment of vendor capabilities with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in Research Operations or Business Management within a global financial institution.
- Strong understanding of broker vote processes, research consumption analytics, client reporting and data distribution frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale operational and technology transformation programs.
- Experience collaborating with Sales, Research, Technology and external clients.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting Research and Client Data Management
