Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 /Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• 21 + Years of Age
• Valid Driver's License 
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, restricted locations, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, vendors, and visitors in accordance with location protocols and government-related requirements.
• Support crowd management, traffic flow, and directional assistance during busy periods, special events, and/or operational disruptions while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
