Risk Manager – Montana
We have a billion dollar plus bank looking for a Risk Manager who will oversee the Risk Management Department, which consists of three sub-departments: Compliance, Vendor Management, and Facilities. This position will be responsible for providing all three sub-departments with direction, resources, and top-down support to implement and run an effective risk management system within the bank. The Risk Manager is also responsible for working with Bank Management and functional Area Managers and Supervisors to properly identify and assess areas and degrees of risk and developing and implementing internal control policy and procedures that minimize residual risk to acceptable levels based upon the risk tolerance and capital levels of the bank. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of community bank within these areas with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory background since this position will supervise at least a staff of six. This is a high visibility position with a salary commensurate with the needed experience
