Description
Job Characteristics:
Responsible for leading Global Process Improvement Projects or complex projects or programs impacting 1-5 regions and/or functions to enable business growth and improved profitability. This is achieved through the use of a variety of improvement tools, exceptional networking, influencing, and communication skills. Has the capability to manage a portfolio above $5MM per annum in terms of Type 1 & 2 savings or growth. Identifies options to address business needs and gains approval for the best alternatives from the Project Sponsor, PMO Director, or Program Manager II. Also gains support from managers who will be engaged in project implementation. Responsible for supporting PMO training and coaching, both within the PMO and to employees in other functions. Assists the PMO Director and Program Manager II to ensure up-to-date training and project execution methodologies are used within the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Supply Chain Management, or a similar subject and 6+ years of relevant experience in improvement methodologies. 3+ years of experience managing a portfolio of cross-functional projects or programs. Demonstrated team management experience. Completed all internal PMO training up to and including Greenbelt or equivalent.
Independence Level:
Acts independently under general direction to lead projects or programs. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans. May lead project teams.
