As a multinational company present in more than 50 locations in over 25 countries, Global Mobility is a key topic for Julius Baer. Our Global Mobility team is responsible for providing fair und consistent standards and guidelines for international assignments, advises stakeholders on business cases and supports assignees in the preparation and realisation of their international transfers.
In this role you are responsible for the following tasks:

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Support the implementation and day-to-day administration of the existing Global Mobility program serving as a key contact point for stakeholders on mobility policy and processes
• Assist with the full lifecycle of international assignments and transfers (e.g. approval process, remuneration package, assignee briefing, implementation) with management support on complex queries
• Support assignment cost management and assist with policy exceptions according to internal governance processes
• Administer global social security, pension, risk, and health insurance coverage for mobile employees
• Coordinate immigration and work permit applications with local HR and external service providers
• Contribute to the annual compensation review and year-end sourcing of deferred compensation and equity awards for cross-border employees and international assignees
• Assist with vendor management, including initiating external vendor services and monitoring service delivery quality (e.g. tax services, relocation services, immigration, global health coverage)
• Administer international pension, risk, and health plans, including new member registration, member de-registration, and interaction with members and HR stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement and scalability of Global Mobility processes, templates, and tools, leveraging automation and HR systems
• Contribute to Global Mobility projects and cross-functional initiatives, including business travel compliance support/deputisation and collaboration with HR and Talent stakeholders on internal mobility initiatives
• Provide support on cross-border income tax and social security topics within the organisation, consulting senior team members as needed

Professional & Technical

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in banking, finance, business administration, economics, or human resources
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Global Mobility is a must - preferably in a larger, multinational company or in a consultant capacity
• Good understanding of current international assignment types
• Good understanding of shadow payroll and Swiss income tax; broader cross-border tax exposure is a plus
• Knowledge of global tax and social security systems and associated issues arising in cross-border taxation
