Discovery Kidd has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator.

The Position:
Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent and working closely to the HR Systems & Process Advisor, the successful. applicant will be responsible for the administration of various human resources functions and processes including benefits to employees and retirees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer benefits and reimbursement programs by responding to employee inquiries, updating enrolments, changes and terminations with third-party carriers and insurers, and acting as a liaison between employees and insurance providers.
- Process payroll and timekeeping inputs, review information for completeness and accuracy and follow up on missing or incorrect employee data.
- Maintain accurate employee schedules, timekeeping records and related HRIS updates in accordance with established processes.
- Maintain electronic employee files and HR records, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, confidential and filed in accordance with established retention practices.
- Completing various administrative tasks such as invoice payment, ordering and maintaining office supply stock, filing, etc.
- Organizing various events including holiday parties, service awards, on-site meetings, etc.
- Providing day-to-day support to the HR Department as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal Candidate will have:
- Three (3) years of administrative experience in an office environment, including data entry, records management or payroll support
- A diploma in business administration or a related field is an asset. A combination of education and relevant administrative experience will be considered.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage their workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Previous experience working in HR or payroll department considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive total compensation package including:
- Health, Dental, Life, AD&D, Disability, Healthcare and Wellness Spending Accounts, Virtual Care and Employee and Family Assistance Program;
- Company contributions and matching into a Defined Contribution Pension Plan; and
- Annual compensation of CAD$63,000 to CAD$80,000.
